Procedure in case of suspected COVID

If any guest is with symptoms wearing a surgical mask and disposable gloves is mandatory.

If any guest has symptoms in the room, the guest is asked to remain in the room and notify the Reception.

The Family Concierge team at Reception will inform the Management and organize the delivery of full EPI.

The Management will call the SNS24 line (808 24 24 24) who will evaluate the case and contact the Local Health Authority.

The guest may be asked to leave the resort to protect the team and guests.

Each room has an A/C unit. Individual controls are located on the wall, below the unit. Please adjust them to your comfort.

AIRPORT TRANSPORTATION
Private transfer available upon 24h in advance request. Please call our Front Desk for information.

ATM SERVICE There is an ATM machine available in our main Square. Please note that Martinhal Resort has no responsibility on the machine and/or his functionality.

Baby Safety We have a limited stock of equipment available, such as stair gates, electric socket protectors, high chairs, baby bottle warmers and more. Please contact the Front Desk should you require any of the above.

Bed Linen and Towels In order to reduce our environmental impact, the cleaning of bed linen is done every third day and when there is an arrival and departure of new guests. In relation to the towels in order to preserve the environment we recommend to reuse them using the towel dryer. in alternative you may also use the washing machine from your house. If you prefer that this service is provided daily, please contact the Front Desk.

CAR RENTAL Please call our Front Desk staff to arrange for a rented car to be delivered to you at the Hotel.

CHECK-IN Check-in time is after 03:00 p.m. Early check-in is at the discretion of the hotel and is based on the availability of your room. Please provide us your arrival time for a smoother process. To avoid concentrations at the Front Desk we highly recommend to complete the pre-arrival online check in.

Check Out We kindly ask that you vacate your house by 11:00 a.m.
Should you wish to stay on and make use of the facilities for the remainder of the day, we can open a Day Guest account for any further purchases you may wish to make. Should you require an extended check out time, please contact Reception in advance. (charge applies) For your convenience your account may be consulted in your TV and payment could be done online. Please contact the front desk for an online payment link. Always avoid concentrations on the front desk. Presential check out it is not advisable, however, if so only one person should go to the reception.

Cleaning Upon arrival you will notice a Clean & Safe sticker on your door to indicate that the room has been thoroughly disinfected and cleaned. The cleaning of your house is done daily and only when guest is not in the room, between 09h00 and 17h00.For further information, please contact the reception.

Concierge Our Concierge will be pleased to further help or advice you on any matter related to the hotel, location, activities, tours or any other aspect that can make your holiday even more enjoyable. We are located at the reception and you may contact us through your house phone, WhatsApp, email or MyMartinhal. Please make use of the online options for your convenience.

Cots & Extra Beds Cots and extra beds are available for our younger guests (until 12 years old) (Charge applies). Please contact Reception.

Deliveries & Pre-order Pre-order system for all meal periods; Home delivery available be with delivery charges; Breakfast may be pre ordered and delivered the day before in the afternoon in take away boxes or the same day for fresh items. Or give guests option to pick up by themselves; Comply with government regulations / AHRESP and other official entities (awaiting official restoration measures);

For all room deliveries we inform the guests the possibility to deliver the goods at the door; Each room service order to have individually wrapped chinaware, cutlery, disposable napkins for 2 adults and 2 kids as a standard;

Do not disturb Sign If you put the “Do-not-disturb” sign on the outside handle of your house door, housekeeping will comply. You will enjoy the extra rest, but your room will have to skip the room’s makeover.

DVD PLAYER A DVD player is available for your entertainment.

Electricity The power sockets in your room are 220V. Should you require European adaptors, please contact Reception (Charge applies).

Fire Procedure Please familiarise yourself with the nearest fire exits and meeting point to your house. Details can be found behind the entrance door. Should you discover a fire please contact reception immediately by dialling 9.

FIRST AID Should you require any assistance, please contact our Front Desk.

Fitness Room: Located in the main square and available 24/7. Requires bookings in advance and only one family at the time.

Hairdryer A hairdryer is available in the draw of the main bedroom.

Heating floor Each room has heating floor. Individual controls are located on the wall next to the air conditioning control. Please adjust them to your comfort.

Internet Complimentary Wi-Fi Internet is available throughout the resort, please connect to Martinhal Resort network (no login password is required). Should you have any difficulties with connecting, please contact our Family Concierge via WhatsApp.

Key Card and entry Your key card provides access to your room and allow charges across the resort. Please do not forget to take your key card with you when you leave your room. If you lose your key, please notify our front desk immediately so we can block your lost key.

Laundry A washing machine is provided in your house for your convenience. Washing powder or liquid is not provided. If you would like some washing done during your stay, simply place your items in the laundry bag provided (in the wardrobe draw) and contact Reception to collect it (Dial “9”). Laundry sent before 13h00 will be returned the following day before 19h00. An Ex-press Service is available, and items received prior to 10h00 will be returned the same day prior to 19h00. A surcharge of 50% will be applied. Dry cleaning is also available however this is not available during week-ends and public holidays. If you would like any items pressed, please contact Reception. We ask you to allow 1 hour for this service, quantity permitting.

LOST & FOUND All the found items are kept by the hotel, for a 3 months period or, if valuable, for 6 months. Please contact the reception in case of any lost or found items.

Luggage You can store your luggage free of charge. Just ask at our reception. Please note that all luggage will be disinfected before entering the storage room.  Martinhal Resort cannot be made responsible for loss or damage to your belongings.

Mail Postage We are happy to post your letters and postcards if they are stamped.  A variety of post cards and stamps are available at the Mercado Deli&Bake

Newspaper If you would like a morning newspaper, please contact Reception with your request. We are able to provide most daily papers from around the world – we print them in the Resort! We will add the charge to your bill.

Personal Hygiene Items Clean & Safe personal disinfection kit is provided upon arrival for every family. At your disposal: Shampoo, shower gel, body cream, dental floss, Make-up remover discs, toilet bag, nail kit, cotton buds and a shower cap. If needed, you may ask the Reception for the following additional amenities: shaving kit, comb, toothbrush and toothpaste. To help us protect the environment, we kindly ask you to put empty amenities in the existing tray for replacement. Thank you for your support.

Pets Pets are not allowed in the Resort.

Printing and scanning We are happy to help with printing and scanning service, please send the files to Family Concierge (guest.sagres@martinhal.com) with instructions.

Restaurants and Room Service All menus are available in www.MyMartinhal.com and served as take-away or in room delivery. (Charges apply). For service in restaurants, we follow strict Clean&Safe guidelines. All menus are digital for your reference. Kindly scan the QR code to access and place your order at the table. Printed menus are available upon request. Kindly ask your waiter.

Safes A safe is located in your house. Please use this to keep your valuable items safe at all times. Should you experience any problems or forget your code, please contact Reception. The Hotel cannot be held responsible for valuables left in the safe. In case your house is not equipped with a Safe, we also have a deposit service at the Front Desk.

Security Our staff is available on-site 24 hours per day. Some premises are monitored by CCTV. Please contact our staff immediately if you notice any dangerous or suspicious situations.

Sewing Kit & Service A sewing kit can be found in the amenities box of your bathroom. We are also very happy to carry out simple repairs for you within our own laundry department. Please contact the Front Desk for details.

Smoking Smoking is not permitted indoors within Martinhal Beach Resort & Hotel.

SPA Should you wish to book a treatment or just learn more about the wide range of treatments and experiences on offer, please contact Reception or check MyMartinhal.com. For your convenience and safety all treatments can be carried out in your villa.

Swimming Pool If your villa is equipped with a swimming pool. Please take a few minutes to familiarise yourself with the swimming pool and carefully read the safety rules and instructions. Children must be supervised closely at all times.

Electronic pool covers: unclip all safety clips around the pool edge. On one of the walls around the swimming pool area you will find the control box for the electric cover along with the key to activate this. To retract the pool cover, turn the key to position “I” until the pool is fully exposed and the cover is fully retracted. Turn the key back to position “0”. To cover the pool, turn the key to position “2” until the pool is fully covered then turn the key back to position “0”. Refasten all safety clips around the pool edge.

Manual pool covers: To retract the pool cover simply turn the handle in the appropriate direction until the pool is fully visible and the cover is fully retracted, ensuring that any ropes or cords are not a trip hazard. To cover the pool again turn the handle in the appropriate direction until the pool is fully covered, using the ropes/cords to guide this along if necessary, ensuring that these are not left as a trip hazard. In case you need any help, please contact Reception.

Swimming pool towels You may find pool towels next to the swimming pools with our leisure team. If your villa is equipped with a swimming pool you may find a set of towels in the house. Should you need to swap them you may do it next to any public swimming pool available or by requesting our Front desk.

Taxi Should you require a taxi at any point during your stay, please contact the Front Desk. Please give as much notice as possible for this service.

Telephone All rooms contain a direct-line telephone. You can make internal calls (free of charge) and external calls (paid service).
