1. The Hotel policy and by Portuguese Law no child should be left unattended. 
2. The Child Care Service, it is subject to availability upon request.
3. For each service request, a minimum charge of 2 hours applies.
4. Service requested is per family. Children must be siblings.
5. After midnight the cost will increase 4€ per hour. 
6. The ratio is 1 childminder per 3 children.
7. For children under 18 months, the ratio is 1 childminder per 2 children.
8. Bookings must be made up to 24 hours in advance via My Martinhal request.
9. Cancellations free of charge must be communicated with 4 hours in advance. 
10. Cancellations less than 4 hours in advance are subject to a minimum charge of 2 hours.
11.  Monitors are subject to availability. We do not guarantee the service with the requested preference.
12. The payment can be done directly to the childminder or charged to the room account.

During the service the childminder is authorized to:

Activities: watch and play with the child, tell stories, go to the play areas available at the resort including swimming pools and the beach;

Hygiene: washing hands, changing nappies, bathing, brushing teeth and changing the child’s clothes;

Food: feeding meals that have already been prepared and authorized by the tutors; accompanying families to the resort’s restaurants during their meals;

Sleeping: putting the child to sleep and keeping an active watch. If the child is already asleep at the start of the service, you can open the bedroom door with or without the tutors present. Only wake the child in an emergency or at the request of the tutors;

During the service the childminder is not authorized to:

Activities: leave the resort with the children even in the presence of the tutors.

Hygiene: use products not authorized by the tutors;

Food: make food, give food/drinks not authorized by the tutors;

Other: tidying or cleaning the surrounding areas and washing or tidying the dishes; staying out of the house without the child; leaving the child unsupervised when the tutors are away.

Medication: do not medicate the child, except in the case of S.O.S., such as the use of an epipen or an asthma pump (if you explain the rules of use to the monitor at the beginning of the service).
